Heat tracing FAQQ: need to know what criteria do you consider to select Thermostats locations when you design electric heat tracing system ? To clarify my question more, suppose all tracer cables were installed on pipes of a project , now which parts of pipes do need to be protected by thermostats? If there is a valve in pipe line, should I put two thermostats on this pipe , each thermostat one side of valve? Kindly teach me in very simple language.
