A bachelor’s degree electrical engineer is a requirement for nearly all entry-level electrical engineering jobs. It takes four years full time in any accredited University to get a degree in electrical engineer.
Basically all engineering programs require first 2 years general courses in mathematics, physical science, life science... And the last 2 years will mainly focus on electrical classes. To be consider major in Electrical Engineer, you must be strong in Math. There are six courses in mathematics. The lowest math level is Calculus 1, then Calculus 2 and 3; Linear Algebra, Statistic, Probability. Admissions for undergraduate engineering school will include a background in mathematics, science, English, social studies, and humanities. Although the bachelor’s degree programs are typically supposed to be 4 year programs, there are many who take between 4 and 5 years to finish the program.
